I have completed all of the books in the Honeywells of Kentucky series by Vanessa Gray Bartal. I was sad to say goodbye to this interesting, loving family. You will not want to put any one of these books down until you finish them. Though about the same family, each book is unique and has its own interesting, even clever twists. I especially enjoyed the story of Darcy and Genevieve and Aunt Jo. Most of us get an idea of what is right for us and the direction for our life, but there is a special path for each of our lives, and this is reflected in each of Ms. Bartal's books, drawing a picture of the lives of each brother.Product details

I love all of Vanessas books and had no doubt I would love this series. She has not let me down. Each story in this series gets better and better. I am on to the next.
I have really enjoyed the entire series about the Honeywells. This author writes books that are so enjoyable. Her characters feel like family that you enjoy spending time with, so be ready to want to start the next one just as quick as you finish each one.
Light romantic series - Not as good as the Paradise series, but I did read quite a few of her books in a reading marathon.
This book was great for me because it had nutty emotions all over the place. Darcy will remind you of his other two big brothers with honesty and compassion. Only at the end of the book does he really act like a Honeywell. That's when you laugh. Just read it. It's the best in the series so far.
It's so far my favorite story of the Honeywell brothers. My mother died of cancer and I was with her for a good portion of her treatments. Reading about Genevieve and what she went through as well as Darcy, brought back lots of memories of mom. I cried and laughed with the story. Enjoy it for it is truly a love story.
I'm an avid reader of this author. I LOVE her books! She takes a family and makes them into a series of books and spins a story of it.
I have to get up at 530 a.m. and what happens? I start reading another book by Vanessa Gray Bartal. I should know better. Every story is as good as the last, keeping me up turning pages until I'm sure to be useless the next day. Will they figure out that they belong together? Will the weather do them in? Will they die alone? I can't wait for a reasonable hour to find out. Apparently. Another job well done by my favorite author!
